Cisco 8845 Single Number Reach Setup
Single Number Reach Setup
Single Number Reach (Mobility) allows you to configure up to 4 additional phones to ring when your desk phone rings.
An additional feature called Move to Mobile allows you to transfer a call from your desk phone to your mobile device without dropping the call.
It also allows a call that was initially redirected from the desk phone to a mobile device to be transferred back to the desk phone.
The additional phones are configured using the MyPhone Self Care Portal.

Using Single Number Reach Mobility
Single Number Reach can be enabled and disabled by pressing the Mobility button on the desk phone, as well as through the Self Care Portal.
If the Move to Mobile feature is enabled, this button also serves to transfer an active call to the mobile device.
If the call is already on the mobile device, this button will transfer the call back to the desk phone.
Note: This does not work if the initial call was direct to the mobile device.
The original call must have been to the desk phone and redirected to the mobile device.
One caveat is that if you are on a video call on your desk phone, you may not see the Mobility text on the screen, but the button is still functional.
Jabber users can enable and disable Single Number Reach by clicking the Phone Controls icon and selecting Single Number Reach.
