STEP 1: Change the Term at top of PowerSchool's Start Page to the year you would like to search in
STEP 2: Determine the date the student was enrolled. This is not the exact date the student began attending school. It is simply any day the student was enrolled during that school year. The data will display as of the last day of school for that school year.
Consider what you know about the student and pick a date that is appropriate. May or November are often good choices. We do not suggest September or October as some students arrive later in the year. The very end of the year is also difficult as some students drop out.
STEP 3: Type the As of Search into the Search box using the format below inserting the date you determined in the above step and your student's id or last name at the end. Click the magnifying glass to begin search.
/*As_Of = mm/dd/yyyy;student_number = 123456 or if you don't have an id use /*As_Of = mm/dd/yyyy;last_name = smith
STEP 4: If that date doesn't find the student you are looking for, then try another date.
TROUBLESHOOTING:
- You can use upper or lower case letters but the spelling must be the same as in the example. I would suggest copy and pasting and then changing the date and id to meet your needs.
- If all else fails, please fill out a help desk ticket and someone can assist you in your search.
