This article covers how to create a Schoology account using the Schoology App, which can be found on either Android or IOS.
Note: A parent account can only be created once you receive an access code from your child's teacher or school.
Register for a Parent Account on the Schoology App:
If you don’t already have an account on Schoology, you can sign up using a Parent Access Code provided by your child's instructor. Once you have the access code, download the Schoology app from Google Play or the Amazon App Store and follow these steps to get started:
- Tap Sign Up for Schoology at the very bottom.
- Select Parent.
- Enter the access code provided by your child's instructor and click Continue.
- Enter your First and Last Name, an email address or username, and a password for your account.
- Check the box to agree to Schoology's Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.
- Tap Register to complete.

Once you are logged into your account, the navigation icon in the top left of the screen to access the navigation menu. Select My Children from the navigation menu to access your child's activity. The My Children view within the Android app is where parents can view the courses, groups, grades, and attendance of their child. Like the Student Activity View on the web version of Schoology, this area displays a preview of how your child can view their Schoology information.
Use the menu in the header to access your child's Courses, Groups, Grades, and Calendar.
