Mapping Gradebook Categories from Schoology to PowerTeacher Pro

After setting up your categories in PowerTeacher Pro and setting up matching categories in Schoology, there is one final step you have to take in Schoology to make the two gradebooks sync.

          1.  While in your Schoology course, click the PowerSchool app in the left navigation menu and click Configuration.

         2:  Identify the menu that says "Map your Schoology Categories to your categories in PowerSchool for this section"                                     

         3: In the Schoology Course Categories column on the left, choose the correct Schoology Category that you want to map to the equivalent PowerTeacher Pro Category in the right column.     

                                                                                                                                             

         4: Select Automatically Shorten Assignment Titles box

         5: Scroll to the bottom of the page and click the Save Changes box, and you will be all set!

Notes

• If your sections are linked, you must toggle to the next section in the Configuration tab and map PowerSchool categories to the Schoology categories.
