How to Pull a List of Enrolled Students and Med Alerts/Allergies for Summer School

These instructions are for Summer School Coordinators, or school staff to pull a list of all students currently enrolled in their summer school programs including any recorded food allergies included in student medical alerts. 

  1. Ensure you are under _Summer School at the top right in PowerSchool

  1. Click Summer Program Rosters under SPS Options

  1. Search your school name (CTRL + F). Your school may have more than one program. You will pull individual lists for each program. For Example, most secondaries will have ES @ SchoolName (Early Start) and CCR @ SchoolName (Credit or course recovery) 

  • Click your school’s Program Name 

  • This list will show only students who are currently enrolled. If there are students who have not been registered in PowerSchool, they will not be on the list. 

  1. Scroll to the bottom of the list and click ‘Make Current Student Selection’

  1. At the bottom-right of the list, click the down arrow > ‘Click Custom Student List’ under Student Reports

  1. Copy the Fields in the screenshot below exactly:  

  • With the exception of row 1: [39]Name (type this one), Click the blue “Fields” link next to each row > Start typing the field > Click the correct field to fill. 

  • Type in the Column Title what you would like the column header to be on your list 

    • Click ‘Submit’ 

  1. You will see your student list including the medical alerts. Copy the entire list including the headers by highlighting all text and pressing CTRL + C.  

  • Paste the list into an Excel file for easy sharing
