Updating Career Data for State Reporting (CVTE or Pathways)

This page directs you to update details for students is career programs. This includes chapter 74 programs, non-chapter 74 programs and pathways programs. These programs are reported to the state and have a direct impact on school and district funding.

Schools with DESE approved programs should enter the student participation data in PowerSchool. This data informs program funding. The data must be entered 3 times per year.

Step 1:  Select Student

Step 2:  Navigate to CTE Page for CTE or HQCP for Pathways

Step 3:  Update Fields Shown as Necessary.  Note that some fields have drop downs.  Others you will need to refer to the SIMS handbook and appendices for details.

• Only Safety Credential codes can be entered in DOE047. Refer to the SIMS Data Appendices for safety codes. 

Step 4:  Click SUBMIT at bottom right corner to submit all updates on this page.
