Printing Mail Labels from PowerSchool
Labels can be printed for a group of students or entire school. The mailing label is one that is often used. The same format can be used to send home report cards as well as other correspondence to the “Parent/Guardian”.
Create a selection of students
On the start page in PowerSchool, Click onto a grade level or run a homeroom search
Example: Home_Room = 10
Locate and Print Report
- Once you have your student selection > People menu > Students > Print Mailing Labels
- Select Label Layout from Drop down (Parent/Guardian Mailing Labels is one that is recommended for report cards)
- Click Submit
(The Report page will open, and may take a couple minutes to run. If so, hit Refresh button to Refresh page)
- Click View to review the label report
- Click Printer Icon and Check Location of Printer
Check Alignment
- How Many Pages? Select "One page Only".
- Click on Print button
(Only the first page will be printed. You may choose to test print on paper first before printing on labels. Hold the paper with labels printed on it and hold up to light with label paper behind)
Printing
- Once alignment has been reviewed, put labels in designated printer
- Click on Print button
