Hand Entering Historical Grades for a Schedule Class
Hand entered grades should be manually input into PowerSchool by a Counselor or Administrator when a teacher has not met the deadline for report card grading, and grades have already been stored for the quarter.
Locate the Student
From the Start Page, type student ID or last name in the search box to find the student
Entering the Historical Grade
- Click Academic Records in the left-hand menu > Historical Course Grade > Single New Entry
New Stored Grade Page:
- Choose the appropriate School Year from the drop-down menu
- Enter the course number you would like to enter a grade for
- Leave ‘This is a grade for an unscheduled class’ unchecked > Click Search
- Click the Course Name of the section you would like to enter a grade for

*Note: the student Grade Level will default to their current grade level. If you are entering a grade for a previous year, you will need to adjust the student's grade level accordingly.
- Select the appropriate Store Code (Final grades should always be stored as F1 as this is the only store code that will populate earned credit)

Click Submit at the bottom-right.
*Note: If the section you are looking for is not populating for the course you select, the course will need to be scheduled for the student prior to hand entering the student's grade.
