Hand Entering Historical Grades for a Scheduled Class

Hand Entering Historical Grades for a Schedule Class
Hand entered grades should be manually input into PowerSchool when a teacher has not met the deadline for report card grading, and grades have already been stored in PowerSchool for the quarter.

Locate the Student
Go to Start Page, type student ID or last name in the search box to find the student

Hand Entering the Historical Grade
- Click onto the Historical Grades link in the left navigation bar
- Click onto the Single New Entry button
- Choose the appropriate School Year from the drop down menu
- Click Search (This will provide you a list of all the selected student's scheduled classes for that year. You can filter down further by teacher and/or course number)
- Click onto the Course Name that you wish to enter the grade for

- Note that the student Grade Level will default to their current grade level. If you are entering a grade for a previous year, you will need to adjust the student's grade level accordingly.
- Select the appropriate Store Code (Final grades should always be stored as F1 as this is the only store code that will populate earned credit)
- Select the student's letter grade from the Grade drop down (Note that all fields will pre-populate with the correct information based off of your course selection)

- Click Submit

Note: If the incorrect data is populating for the course you select, the course will need to be rescheduled prior to hand entering the student's grade
