Viewing Student Activity History and Reports in Classwize

Teachers can view student browsing history and create detailed reports utilizing the Screenshot History Tool and the Student Journey Tool.

To use the Screenshot History Tool to view student activity and download screenshots use the following directions.

NOTE: Screenshot History Tool only tracks student activity data for the last 2 weeks, for more detailed reports with larger date ranges teachers should use the Student Journey tool outlined later in article.

1. Click on the Class Section that has the student you wish to run a report on or view browsing activity

2. Click on the Reports button in the top right hand corner and then select Screenshot History

3. Select the Student and the Range of Dates, then click Search

4. A list of the students browsing activities will pop up, you can click View to look at screenshots of that activity

5. When you are viewing a student activity you can click to different timestamps or download a .zip folder of the screenshots


To use the Student Journey Tool to view detailed student activity across a larger selection of dates, and export a report, use the following directions.
1. Click the Class Section that has the student for the report you are trying to run

2. Click on the Reports button in the top right hand corner and then select Student Journey

3. In the new window select a Student, a Range of Dates, and write a Name for the report. After these fields are filled out select Export.

4. Confirm that the report information is correct and then press Export again
 
5. A PDF document containing the detailed student browsing activity will be sent to your Springfield Email, and you can download it to your computer from there. NOTE: If you do not see the report after a few minutes, check your SPAM folder.
