The DataHub reports provides quick answers to questions such as:
- Who are my students?
- What is their performance history?
- What is their attendance and discipline history?
- How are they performing on assessments?
The Landing Page
The landing page is the starting point for staff to access dashboards and reports across categories such as Assessments, Attendance, Enrollment, Graduation and more.
DataHub is role-based, therefore, your landing page only shows the reports and dashboards you’re permitted to see for your job role and assigned schools.
The data in the DataHub is refreshed nightly, therefore, the report data is current as of yesterday's date.

Navigating the Landing Page
- Reporting Categories (left): Browse reports by topic e.g., Enrollment, Attendance, Grades & Schedules, etc. Selecting a category filters the list of reports.
- Dashboards (right): Dashboards appear only in the Dashboards panel on the right. They do not appear under the left-side reporting categories.
- Dashboards are summary pages that combine key visuals and trends into a single view, giving you a quick snapshot of performance with links to more detailed reports if you need deeper analysis.

- All Reports Catalog: The master list of available reports; selecting a category on the left filters this list to just those reports. Click the Report Name to open it.
- Search by keywords: Use the two search fields to quickly filter the list. The left box searches Report Name, and the right box searches Description. Type one or more keywords (not case-sensitive); results narrow as you type. Clear the text to reset the list.
- Report Type column: Explains how each item opens and the best way to export/use it.
- Interactive: Opens in Power BI with slicers/drilldowns. Export options (PDF/Excel) may be available depending on permissions.
- Export-friendly: Pre-formatted for printing or saving (gives a clean layout, minimal interactivity). Ideal for PDF export and printing.
- Excel: Downloads an .xlsx file directly for use in Excel (filters and analysis done in Excel).

- Help (speech bubble): Opens the Help Desk Ticket System and user guides. You can enter a Service Desk Ticket here.
- Announcements (megaphone): Shows service notices (maintenance, new releases, outages).
- Back to Home (green button): Clears any search boxes on the landing page, and restores your page to the default view

System Reset Button (Reset to Default)
When you change a report (filters, slicers, sorting, drill, etc.), a green Reset to default button appears in the top-right of Power BI (outside the landing page canvas). Click it to restore the current page to the report author’s saved default state.

Navigating BACK to the Landing Page
- When a report is selected from the Landing Page, it opens in a new tab.
- This allows you to have multiple reports including the Landing Page open simultaneously.
- To get back to the Landing Page, click the “Landing Page” tab in your browser.
