How to Set Google Chrome as your Default Browser

 

Step #1

Log into your SPS staff laptop and click the Windows start button in the lower left-hand corner of your screen.

Continue by typing Default Programs into the Search Windows field.

 

Step #2

Within the search results, click the Default Programs desktop app.

 

Step #3

Within the Settings window under Choose default apps, scroll down to the Web browser subsection.

Microsoft Edge will be set as the default browser! 

Click the Microsoft Edge icon to display the list of available browsers.

 

Step #4

Within the Choose an app window, select Google Chrome as your default browser.

Your SPS staff laptop will now use Google Chrome as its default browser.

You can now close the settings window.
