When teachers log in for the first time they are prompted to confirm the Subject and Grades that they teach. If someone clicks through that too fast, they might not enable the appropriate subjects. In this sceneria a teacher may not see both subjects they have students scheduled in.
This permission setting is controlled by a “My Profile” feature which is new this year.
If you are not seeing both subjects when you should, (for example, you have Math and Language classes, but don’t see Math) here is the solution:
- The next time you (a teacher) log into I-Ready look for your name in blue in the top right of the page.
- Click on the name and choose My Profile
- Click on Edit profile. This is where you can make the adjustment and add the missing subject.
- Click on Save.
Once you have completed these steps, everything should appear as expected.
