Syncing Schoology Gradebook to PowerTeacher Pro (All Steps)

1. Inside of your Schoology Course, navigate to Grade Setup:

2. Add the categories you have setup in PowerTeacher and set as Total Points. For most schools it will default to Summative and Formative but some schools have specific categories. To check this, in Powerteacher Pro, from the user menu, choose Settings and then choose Traditional Grade Calculation.

Ensure the categories are weighted at the correct amounts and press Save Changes at the bottom of the screen. There is also an option to copy this setup for other sections:​​​​​​​

3. On the left hand side of the course​​​​​​​ go to the PowerSchool button:

4. On the Configuration Screen check the box to automatically shorten titles and also check the schedule sync button. After this you map the Schoology Categories you just set up to the PowerSchool categories to match. After this press save changes and you are all set! You will have to do this step for each schoology section!
