Begin by single-clicking the Microsoft OneDrive taskbar icon; Microsoft OneDrive will be represented by a blue cloud icon.
Within the Microsoft OneDrive task bar menu, click the More button at the bottom of the menu; a smaller options menu will appear.
Click the Settings option within the smaller options menu.
Within the Microsoft OneDrive dialog window, click the Backup tab to access the backup options.
Click the Manage backup button to continue.
Within the Back up your folders dialog window, select the folders you wish to backup to your Microsoft OneDrive.
Click Start backup when ready.
Setting up folder backup...
Microsoft OneDrive will now begin backing up your selected folders.
You can view the progress of the backup by clicking the View sync progress button.
Setup is complete!
You can close Microsoft OneDrive and the program will continue to backup your files in the background.
If you need to stop backing up your folders to Microsoft OneDrive, follow the steps in the document to access the Microsoft OneDrive settings menu.
Access the Backup tab and click the Manage backup button.
Within the Manage folder backup dialog window, click Stop backup under the folders you wish to stop backing up.
Within the Are you sure you want to stop folder backup? dialog window, click the Stop backup button.
If you reached this dialog window by mistake, continue backing up your folder by clicking the Stay backed up button.
You will receive a final warning that you are no longer backing up your folder.
Within the This folder is no longer backed up dialog window, click the Close button.
You can now close Microsoft OneDrive.
