Pre Steps:

1. Make sure that any images that you want as part of the banner have them save into a folder onto your computer. You will need to access them later.

3. Hover over the Schoology Browser tab, right click and select duplicate. This will duplicate the tab. You will need this for later. Return back to the original Schoology tab.

4. Make sure that the course selected is the one that you wish to have a banner

5. Go to add material> add a page

Example of an Interactive Banner: Days of the Week

This banner will allow student to just click on a day of the week and they will be taken to the content for that day that has been created.

1. In your newly created page click on the table icon

2. Create a 5x1 table (note: once the table is created you will need to expand the table a bit)

3. Place the cursor in the first grid, then click insert content >add image/media

4. Complete the steps for how to create an image link. The link needed will be the URL for the folder.

5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 for each day of the week. Remember each folder has a unique URL which you will need to paste in.

6. Once all five days are completed, highlight the entire table and click to copy

7. Make sure that this page is unpublished (so that students do not see the materials) then click save changes
