How to Change a Section Name within a Course

Teacher will need to change the section name. Section names are only associated with an individual teacher. We recommend that only the Lead Teacher change the name of a section.

To change a Section name:

  1. From the Schoology Homepage, select "Courses", and then click "My Courses" from the upper right hand corner
  2. Click the gear icon that is to the right of the section that you would like to change its name
  3. In the box next to Section Name, remove the name of the section and type in the new name.

     3. Scroll to the bottom and Save
